Happy Chanukkah

December is one of my favorite times of year- It is Chanukkah which means presents. I love getting presents and I learned a good lesson this year. I learned to be thankful and appreciative of everything I get regardless of what it is. I also learned that I am very fortunate to get the things I get and not everyone is so lucky.

This year, I received gifts from my favorite toys- I got a Batman Utility Belt which was just awesome. I received a toy space shuttle as well as a blow up space shuttle. I received an Astronaut costume and a helmet, I got some classic board games- Chutes and Ladders, Hi Ho Cheerio, and Don't Break the Ice. I also got some great clothes, some new games for my computer, and some books for my Tag Reader.

One of my favorite things was to light the candles every night. This is such a great tradition and Mommy and Daddy worked very hard to teach us the blessing and teach us songs. Mommy also came to school to teach my class about Channukah and read them a story to explain what Channukah is. We listened to a lot of songs and worked very hard to understand the meaning behind Channukah as well as open presents.

November

So, we are a little behind in posting updates and pictures, so we will post by month for a little bit because Mommy can remember what happened in the month but may not remember so many specifics.

First off- we had our first program at school for November. We had a Thanksgiving song where we sang about Turkeys and playing with friends. We had so much fun and did a great job. We took pictures, but it was very dark and we could not see a lot, so there is only one picture of me and Eliana getting ready for the program. There is one more group picture, I am on the top row on the right side of the picture.

Next- There is a picture of me, Daddy, and Andrew. We have to include these because they are too cute not to include. We also took a trip to Savannah and went to the set of Extreme Makeover. It was cool to watch them work, we did not see any stars but we sat and watched the construction for a little while.

Finally, it was time to celebrate Thanksgiving. Gammy and Papa came to visit and we went to Middleton Plantation for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a lot of fun, we saw animals- including cows, sheep, chickens, and horses. It was a lot of fun. We also ate Thanksgiving dinner, it was so yummy. We also went to James Island to the light show and rode the train throughout the park. The next day, we went on a Charleston Cruise to see Charleston from the water. It was cold, but it was a lot of fun and we had a great time.

I think we have covered everything and included all the pictures from our month. I know we have been behind, but I hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy my pictures.
