Winter vacation- Happy New Year

Putt Putt

Over Christmas break, this year, Bubbe and Grandpa and Aunt Rachel came to visit and play. It was such a great time. I had so much fun playing with them. It has been a while since we saw Aunt Rachel, so it was fun to see her again with her whirlwind of travel.

To end the year 2009, we travelled to Jacksonville for a wedding. It was a great time because I got to see my favorite cousin- Hayden and meet my new cousin, Rowan. We spent a lot of time together and it was so nice to see her, Nana, Gammy, Papa, Uncle Seth and Aunt Shannon as well as many other members of Mommy's extended family. I also got to play putt putt with Harris, Elliott, and Maxwell.

After everyone went to the wedding we took a special trip to Gammy and Papa's house in Orlando and went to WALT DISNEY WORLD- MAGIC KINGDOM. This was so much fun, we saw 2 parades, we rode Dumbo, It's a Small World, the carousel, Buzz Lightyear, and went on the Carousel of Progress. This is a song I remember and I have been singing a lot since we got home.

I always have such a good time with Gammy and Papa and I can't believe they took us all to Walt Disney World, what a great Hannukah/New Year's present and what a wonderful thing to do. We had a great time.

We attempted to take pictures, but we probably did not do a great job. They are a little out of order on this page because Mommy actually erased one, but she wanted to make sure it stayed on there. Enjoy.

Hannukah 2009

Well, it is once again Hannukah time. Of course, I love this time of year, I love lighting the menorah, I wanted to light the candles every night. I love getting presents and it was just a great time. I got some very nice presents including a Tag Reader, dinosaur box, maze game, Lincoln Logs, movies, a Handy Manny truck and a few other things. It was a great time. Thank you everyone for thinking of me this time of year and I love my presents. It is hard to believe that it is already December and the year is almost over. If you continue to look back over my blog, you will really be able to see how much I continue to grow and change.

Happy Hannukah- Jared

Thanksgiving

Yes, most of our pictures are centering around major holidays, but that seems to be where we take the most pictures. For Thanksgiving this year, we took a trip to Elijay, GA to celebrate Thanksgiving with Uncle Tadd, Aunt Jenna, Mr. Drew, Ms. Joanne, AJ and Kristi. This was so much fun. We stayed with Ms. Joanne and Mr. Drew and I just loved it. They had 3 dogs that I helped with, I got to help cook, make pancakes and just had a great time playing at their house. While there, we also ate many meals at Aunt Jenna's restaurant- 61 Main (if you are ever in the area, check it out- she makes some mean Mac and Cheese).

We went to see Gammy and Papa's oldest and dearest friends- Susan and Jay and we got to play at their playgrounds- I rode a 4 Wheeler and sat on a tractor. They just made my day and it as so much fun to play with all their toys. Unfortunately we forgot the camera, so we do not have any pictures of this, but it was a great time.

We also took a Christmas Train ride. It was a lot of fun to ride on the train and it was my first picture with Santa and Reindeers. It was so much fun and I had such a great time on our trip. I am still asking about Ms. Joanne and Mr. Drew and whenever Mommy and Daddy make turkey I get very sad because I want to see them again and want to go and visit their house again.

We also went to see Uncle Barry and Aunt Patty's house, it was a beautiful house up in the mountain, but Mommy had a very hard time making the trip. It was a long ride and difficult to make it up there.

Hopefully we will make a trip again soon. I will try to include some of the best pictures in here, but I am sure some will be missing.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Waterfront Park

We took a trip to the Waterfront Park in Mt. Pleasant with Grandpa and Bubbe, and my friends, Jonah C, Mitchell and Griffin, Eliana, and Ari. It was so much fun and I had a great time playing. Normally Mommy would not have put pictures in, but these were just too cute not to include.

(Update- So, Mommy is going back to add some pictures that we took about this time. It was formal pictures from Sears, we have included pictures of me and me and Andrew, we do not have a small one of the family to scan, so you will just have to find the original. Thanks!)

Halloween Party

Well, October was a very busy month for us, as pictures are posted previously, I also had two surgeries this month. On October 8, I had my right eye operated and I received an IOL. No more contacts in that eye. Surgery went well, but I did not do well with anesthesia. I woke up very unhappy and crying until it was time to leave. I did not eat until we left. I went home took a nap and woke up like nothing had happened. Grandpa came to help out after this surgery and I spent a special day with him on Friday.

On October 29, I had surgery on my left eye. Again, surgery went great, but anesthesia- not something Mommy and Daddy enjoyed. I woke up again screaming, went home, fell asleep and was a new person again. Gammy came and stayed with me this time. I went to Andrew's halloween party at school the next day and dressed as a fire man.

On Saturday, it was Halloween and we had our first annual Halloween Party- this was my "NO MORE CONTACT" Party. All my friends came to go Trick or Treating, we played, ate pizza, and walked around and terrorized the neighborhood. There were about 12 4 year olds and a few siblings sprinkled in going door to door. We definetly started the evening off well.

I was dressed as a Robot, but unfortunately the costume did not make it all away around the neighborhood. I do not think the legs made it two doors down, the arms about another four, the main part lasted the whole way, only because Mommy and Daddy would not let me take it off. Unfortunately, I do not think we took a whole picture of the costume before pieces started coming off, but it was a great idea, just probably not so well executed.

Enjoy the pictures of all my friends playing.
